Corporate Social Responsibility

You’re in the Safest Hands

At TCL Packaging, we are committed to our corporate vision of acting responsibly for the long term in how we do business to help meet our ambition of being “the perfect partner in printed packaging films. Delivering trust, quality and service from a progressive, ethically managed business.”

We have invested significantly to ensure that the environmental impact of our business is minimal. We believe that being a responsible manufacturer means respecting the interests of all our stakeholders. This involves listening, actively responding to concerns, being honest in our expectations and being fair in the reporting of our performance.

We are determined to contribute to the communities in which we operate, and we aim to build long-term relationships.

We are equally committed to our policy of reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainability.

In summary, our CSR policies reflect our commitment to high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.  The three key areas of corporate social responsibility are:

  1. Health & Safety
  2. Environment
  3. Human Rights, Employment and Ethics

Health, Safety & Welfare: TCL Packaging Ltd recognises its health, safety & welfare duties and responsibilities and complies with the relevant health and safety legislation.

Environment:  TCL Packaging Ltd is committed to creating business growth whilst ensuring that impact on the environment is minimised and that all activities are conducted safely by well-trained and qualified employees. Specific assurance is made against the inclusion of unwanted chemical substances in the finished product as dictated by applicable legislation and/or customer requirements.

You can read more about our commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment on our Technical Support page.

Human Rights, Employment and Ethics: At TCL, we conduct our activities in a manner that respects human rights (as set out in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights).  We take seriously our responsibility to act with due diligence to avoid infringing on the human rights of others and addressing any impact on human rights if they occur. Our commitment to respect human rights is defined in our Ethics Policy and core values statement, which applies to all employees of the Company, and in a Supplier Code of Conduct, which applies to TCL suppliers.

As a business, we also support the goals of the U.K. Modern Slavery Act.
