BRCGS Packaging Materials was the first packaging standard to be recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and helps a packaging site to demonstrate that they are providing products that are quality assured, legally compliant, and authentic.
The standard has recently been updated to Issue 7 and, although it doesn’t come into effect until April 2025, the Compliance team at TCL Packaging is already poring through it to identify new or modified clauses to ensure that we meet all of the requirements in full.
The aim at TCL is to keep one step ahead of the legislation so that we always ensure food-safe packaging is produced.
