There is a current need for every manufacturing business to reduce carbon emissions and, at the same time, reduce energy costs (in reaction to the unprecedented rise in energy prices in recent years).
TCL Packaging has recently had an Energy Assessment carried out by the West Midlands Pilot Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) to identify opportunities to reduce energy usage at its Telford site. This assessment identified three recommendations that, when combined, could provide a reduction of 136,000 kWh/yr, equivalent to an estimated annual carbon saving of 28 tonnes.
These opportunities are too good to miss, and we will be addressing them over the coming months.
